Technical Skills
The MET program does not require an advanced ability with computers. Students
are expected to be able to send and receive emails with attachments, and to
access course materials via the internet.
Hardware/Software Requirements
Students will participate in online courses using a PC or Macintosh computer
with internet access. Students are responsible for purchasing and maintaining
all computer hardware and software.
If You Do Not Qualify
All students applying to the MET program must hold a four-year baccalaureate degree or its academic equivalent. If you have such a degree, but do not meet other formal admission criteria, you still may be considered for the program if you have sufficient depth and breadth of professional experience and training, and clear objectives for studying at the graduate level.
If you wish to consider this option, please contact Dr. Cliff Falk - MET
Academic Advisor (cliff.falk@ubc.ca).
